The Golden wildfire started at 11:55 PST on 07/22/23. Humans caused the fire. As of 0530 PST on 08/01/23, the fire covered 2137 acres and was 83 percent contained. 46 residences and 71 outbuildings for a total of 117 structures had been lost, and 8.3 million dollars had been spent on firefighting efforts.
