High Winds developed over the Yukon Delta the afternoon of the 13th and continued into the early morning hours on the 14th. Cape Romanzof reported gusts as high as 61 mph during the event. Elsewhere, Mountain Village reported gusts as high as 54 mph, while Scammon Bay, Marshall and St. Mary's all reported wind gusts as high as 43 mph.

On May 13, 2023, front associated with a 988 mb low in the Bering Sea brought high winds to the Bering Strait Coast, St. Lawrence Island, as well as the Yukon Delta.
