Event narrative

Heavy rain from a thunderstorm caused an area of water approximately six to ten inches deep to run over portions of Tenth Street and Silver Street in Elko. The water covered the road and went over adjacent sidewalks.

Heavy rain from slow-moving thunderstorms produced localized flooding as well as gusty winds.
