A tree was reported down along Midway Rd in Rockingham.

A series of upper disturbances in the northwest flow combined with a surface trough/boundary led to the development of isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late-afternoon and evening hours from the southern Piedmont and Sandhills into the northeast Piedmont and Coastal Plain. Storms became severe across Moore and Richmond counties, producing several reports of downed trees and power lines.
