South Michigan Buoy (Station 45007) gusted between 37-41 knots (or 43-47 mph) for 20 to 30 minutes as storms moved overhead.

The wider storm

Multiple clusters of storms tracked over the southern half of Lake Michigan during the morning and early afternoon hours. Access ramps, boat slips and piers were damaged at Reefpoint Marina when strong thunderstorm winds moved through the Marina. 40-60 boats broke free but were retrieved.
