Report of 1 inch hail at Carl Sanders Hwy and US 278.

An East-West oriented broken line of storms moved south through the CWA in the afternoon and evening hours. As storms passed over the Atlanta Metro, a few storms became strong with isolated strong winds of up to 60 mph, most likely from wet microbursts. A storm just north of Atlanta managed to produce 1 hail .
