Severe (D2) drought conditions persisted through the end of June across all of Thomas County.

The wider storm

Adequate precipitation in June across western, far southwestern and portions of north central Nebraska, led to some improvement in drought conditions in these areas. Across the Sandhills, conditions remained largely unchanged for the month. Across portions of Boyd and Holt Counties, drought conditions actually deteriorated by the end of June.
