A line of showers and thunderstorms moved through the area in the morning of the 11th. Moist flow behind the line in the afternoon was strong enough to initiate isolated thunderstorms which became strong to severe. Localized gusty winds and hail up to 1 was reported. Another line of thunderstorms moved into the area through the middle of the night and early morning of the 12th, bringing localized damaging wind-gusts to parts of North GA. Storms then redeveloped with afternoon instability in the afternoon across the far SE CWA.
