Lightning struck a home in the Meadows subdivision west of Kingland and cause minor injuries and a house fire. The number of injured was unknown. The extent of fire damage to the home was unknown.

Prevailing SW steering with near record high precipitable water of 2.2 to 2.4 inches produced numerous diurnally enhanced thunderstorms along the sea breeze boundaries. A few locally strong pulse storms produced heavy rainfall and gusty wet downburst winds.
