Severe thunderstorm winds resulted in fallen trees and powerlines across Houston County, mainly in southeast portions between Highway 13 and Highway 231 near the Humphreys county line. Damages are a rough estimate.

Wider weather episode

Another line of thunderstorms moved through Middle Tennessee during the afternoon of August 13, 2023. This line significantly weakened as it moved into the area, but still produced enough wind to result in additional wind damage in the form of fallen trees, particularly in the Nashville metro area.
