Severe thunderstorm winds downed large tree branches and a few trees in southwest portions of DeKalb County. Damages are a rough estimate.

Wider weather episode

Another line of thunderstorms moved through Middle Tennessee during the afternoon of August 13, 2023. This line significantly weakened as it moved into the area, but still produced enough wind to result in additional wind damage in the form of fallen trees, particularly in the Nashville metro area.
