A few large trees were downed or uprooted by thunderstorm winds, creating debris on NC Highway 62 near Blanch Road.
Wider weather episode
Strong cold front interacted with an abnormally moist airmass to cause severe thunderstorms to develop in Caswell County. These storms produced winds that
damaged a few trees, and generated large hail which caused damage to tobacco.
