Event narrative

Widespread tree damage across the central portions of Marion County, from near Philadelphia to just east of Palmyra. In Palmyra, the door to a pizza restaurant was blown off. Also, numerous power lines were blown down due to fallen trees and tree limbs. A large 4 foot diameter tree was snapped off on Highway 168 just east of Palmyra.

An MCS moved across northern portions of the forecast area during the late morning through early afternoon hours of June 29th. There were numerous reports of damaging winds.
