The sizes of hail reported were between 1.5 and 2.75 in diameter.
Wider weather episode
Various discrete and scattered thunderstorms impacted portions the combined Oklahoma and Texas Panhandles each evening and overnight on the 21st through the 23rd. Several of these storms produced large hail over and inch in diameter with some as large as 2.75. Severe wind gusts were also hazard with a gust upwards of 66 mph measured by ground equipment. A supercell even dropped a tornado in Hemphill County.
