With an area of high pressure over the central United States, hot weather continued across Middle Tennessee on August 25, 2023. Heat index values across western Middle Tennessee once again exceeded 110 degrees during the afternoon. Nashville International Airport recorded a high temperature of 100 degrees for the second consecutive day.
