The snow level was down to 2500 feet and up to six inches of snow fell at the higher elevations with wind gusts to 50 mph. This was the first storm of the season for this zone.

A fast moving winter storm brought heavy snow and gusty winds to the mountains on December 18th. This was the first of two winter storms that came in quick succession.
