A narrow waterspout was observed to the northwest of Long Key Bridge with an attendant spray ring.

Wider weather episode

Scattered thunderstorms over Florida Bay produced several waterspouts in Florida Bay north of the Middle Florida Keys. A large area of upper level divergence over the northwestern Caribbean and Straits of Florida enhanced convection across the Florida Keys and south Florida.
