Debris flow from the Russell Mountain burn scar due to rain and snowmelt at the higher elevations. Mud, logs and rocks moved downslope and covered parts of Ball Creek Rd.

A slow moving thunderstorm brought heavy rain to the Russell Mountain Burn Scar. The rain and snow melt washed out area road.
