Event narrative

Wolf Creek rose six feet out of its banks and caused widespread flash flooding along Wolf Creek Road. Two people were killed when a small cabin they were staying in was washed away.

Scattered thunderstorms developed during the evening hours in a warm and humid airmass. The thunderstorms persisted into the overnight hours.
