Numerous trees were blown down by thunderstorm winds in eastern Buckingham county, along with powerlines and pasture fencing. U.S. Highway 60 east of Dillwyn was blocked by downed trees.

Wider weather episode

A late evening thunderstorm dropped south into eastern Buckingham County. This severe thunderstorm produced damaging winds that brought down numerous trees and powerlines.
