The wider storm

A disturbance moving through along with low-level instability due to warm lake waters helped to spawn numerous waterspouts on Lake Erie in the afternoon. Many reports of waterspouts were received as most of the waterspouts occurred offshore of Buffalo and Hamburg.

Began near Wanakah (42.7700, -78.9500).
