Nickel to quarter sized hail reported covering Interstate 25 near the Platte and Converse County line. A nearby WYDOT sensor reported zero visibility with heavy rain and wind gusts to 51 mph.

Severe thunderstorms were observed across parts of southeast Wyoming the evening of 9 September 2023. Very large hail was reported across Converse, Platte and Goshen Counties during this time.
