County comms reported numerous trees blown down across northern Cherokee County.

Scattered thunderstorms developed across western North Carolina during the late afternoon and evening. One of these storms moved into Cherokee County, SC during the evening and produced large hail up to the size of golf balls along with localized damaging wind gusts.
