A large tree was blown down by severe winds alongside the intersection of two local roads.
Wider weather episode
Marginally supportive shear and plenty of CAPE combine to produce numerous severe thunderstorms that grew upscale into a mesoscale convective system. This MCS progressed from west to east across eastern Tennessee, bringing numerous reports of damaging winds and isolated flash flooding.
