In Boston, a woman was struck by lightning at Malibu Beach in the Dorchester section of Boston and was listed in critical condition.

In the midst of very warm and humid weather a hand full of thunderstorms caused some wind damage and flooding. The environment had very weak forcing so even though there was a good amount of CAPE there were only a few storms that became severe.
