High winds were strong enough to roll round bales of hay and down several power lines.
Wider weather episode
Storms developed over southeast Kansas during the evening of the 13th into the morning of the 14th before moving into southwestern Missouri. These storms produced a swath of wind gusts over 60 mph from Fort Scott, Kansas to the Missouri state line and led to widespread tree and powerline damage.
