There was a 6-inch diameter tree branch down.
Wider weather episode
A complex of storms developed near Interstate 70 and quickly intensified as it progressed southeastward into the Flint Hills. A swath of large hail and damaging winds impacted along and just east of the Flint Hills with the first round of storms during the late morning and early afternoon hours. Then a second round of storms developed across Greenwood and Elk counties and quickly intensified. These storms also produced large hail and damaging winds across the same areas that were impacted by the first round of storms.
