Event narrative

Five individual waterspouts were observed around a mile offshore of Rockaway Beach on the morning of June 19. The first one was observed at 10:20 am. All of the waterspouts dissipated by 10:40 am. Numerous phone calls were received from the public about the waterspouts, and photos and videos were shared with the NWS.
