Event narrative

A large tree limb was blown down on Lost Creek Road near Thomasville Lane. The tree also brought down nearby powerlines as it fell, blocking the entire road.

Wider weather episode

Return flow and afternoon instability prompted a couple of isolated storms across eastern Kentucky during the evening hours on July 5th. One of these storms resulted in a damaging wind which took down a tree and powerlines in Perry County.
