A tree was blown down and across the intersection of Highway 36 and Stone Quarry Road.
Wider weather episode
A round of strong storms developed during the early afternoon hours across north-central Kentucky, and progressed eastward. The storm in Bath/Menifee/Rowan Counties began to bulge out, indicative of high winds on the front end. This did result in at least one damaging wind gust, with a tree reported down in Menifee County. A second storm developed across Wolfe County and intensified, resulting in another report of a damaging wind gust.
