Thunderstorm winds caused a dust storm to reduce visibilities along I-10 from Picacho to Eloy. ADOT sensors and social media reports indicated visibilities were reduced to under a quarter mile.

Wider weather episode

Scattered thunderstorms developed and moved west from Cochise and Santa Cruz across Pima and Pinal counties during the afternoon and evening. Thunderstorm winds produced a dust storm in Pinal County.
