Another round of excessive heat affected the region, creating high temperatures of 105 or greater along with heat indices of 110 or greater. During these days, Denton County Public Health reported 2 cases of heat stroke, 7 cases of heat exhaustion, and 8 other cases of other heat-related illnesses.
