Law enforcement and utility company reported trees and power lines blown down from Dravo Rd across Blacksburg and vicinity. Impacted roads in Blacksburg included Dye Rd and Whitaker Mountain Rd.

For the third day in a row, scattered thunderstorms developed near the North Carolina Blue Ridge and moved southeast into upstate South Carolina. Once again, a few of the storms produced damaging wind gusts and hail over the foothills.
