A waterspout was observed well southeast of the Naval Air Station Boca Chica Field over the Straits of Florida. The condensation cloud extended one quarter the way down from cloud base to the water surface, and no spray ring was observed.

A waterspout was observed well offshore the Lower Florida Keys in association with an isolated rain shower. A tropical upper tropospheric trough was stationary to the east, over the central Bahamas.
