Continued excessive heat occurred during most of July. The first stretch reaching warning criteria was on the 12th through the 14th, with most other days reaching Heat Advisory Levels. Excessive Heat Warnings are issued for maximum heat index values of 113F or above or maximum temperatures of 105 or above.
