The Tyee Ridge Complex was started by lightning around 812 PM PST on 8/24. It is located 10 miles west of Sutherlin. It involves 10 wildfires. As of 530 AM PST on 09/01, it had burned 6,675 acres, was 8% contained, no structures had been destroyed, and it had cost $6.9M. Numerous homes were threatened, evacuations took place, and there were road closures.
