The Ridge Fire was started by lightning on August 25, 2023 around 7:03 PM. It is burning on the Calapooya Ridge of the Umpqua National Forest, approximately 8 miles northeast of Highway 138, and 34 miles east of Glide, OR. As of the last report at 0530 on 09/17, it had burned 214 acres, was 100% contained, no structures had been lost, and it had cost $1.6M.
