Emergency managers from Toa Baja shared pictures of a house that lost it zinc roof due to winds from a nearby thunderstorm.

The wider storm

Although the influence in the local weather due to Hurricane Lee was lessening, the wind flow remained from the south or slightly southeasterly. Under this wind flow, showers moved the Caribbean Sea into southern Puerto Rico, resulting in some water surges and rivers reaching flood stage. Strong thunderstorms also developed along the northern municipalities of Puerto Rico, with gusty winds causing minor damage to zinc roof and tree limbs down.
