Numerous trees and power lines were blown down along AR-Highway 8 between Caddo Gap and Glenwood.

Wider weather episode

A cold front pushed into Arkansas with high temperatures ahead of the boundary that created the scenario for large dewpoint depressions to create an environment for downbursts to occur across central and push into southern Arkansas.
