At the Malta Airport AWOS site (KM75), intermittent visibility of a quarter mile or less was recorded during an 11 hour period from late on the 23rd through mid morning on the 24th.

The wider storm

Leftover moisture associated with a departing low pressure system, generated some

dense fog across portions of northeast Montana. The fog began late on the 23rd before

finally diminishing during the mid morning hours on the 24th.
