At the Beach, ND airport ASOS site (K20U), visibility of a quarter mile or less was recorded for about 7 1/4 hours from late on the 23rd to the morning of the 24th.

Wider weather episode

Leftover moisture associated with a departing low pressure system, generated some

dense fog across portions of northeast Montana. The fog began late on the 23rd before

finally diminishing during the mid morning hours on the 24th.
