An occluded low pressure system moved across the Upper Midwest during the afternoon and evening hours of the 11th. Storms formed in the warm sector ahead of the cold front south of a triple-point that moved through the Brainerd area to near the Twin Ports. A few storms led to some minor tree damage and marginally severe hail in Burnett County as they moved through northwestern Wisconsin.
