Tree branches four to six inches in diameter were down and the power was flickering off and on.

An occluded low pressure system moved across the Upper Midwest during the afternoon and evening hours of the 11th. Storms formed in the warm sector ahead of the cold front south of a triple-point that moved through the Brainerd area. These storms were mainly wind-producing storms with multiple reports of tree damage received from the Brainerd Lakes area eastward into the I-35 corridor.
