Wider weather episode
A potent upper level storm system tracked along the CO/WY border with an associated strong jetmax moving over New Mexico. The first of these high winds hit the south-central mountains in the pre-dawn hours with parts of the eastern plains of NM seeing their strongest wind gusts in the afternoon.
