What the National Weather Service wrote

A thunderstorm moved southeastward and brought local severe hail. Hail from penny to occasionally quarter size was reported from near Bar Nunn to southeast of Evansville.

The wider storm

A cold front moved across central Wyoming and brought large hail to portions of Natrona and Fremont Counties. There were numerous reports of hail from penny to golf ball size across the two aforementioned counties. With the slow movement of the storms, hail accumulated several inches in some places. The two hardest hit areas were along Highway 259 and Interstate 25 south of Midwest in Natrona County as well as Highway 28 over South Pass. Plows had to clear the hail of the road at South Pass.
