Wind gust was recorded on a public weather station in the Neuse River near the Minnesott Ferry Terminal.

Scattered thunderstorms developed along the Coastal Plain and Coastal Waters during the afternoon and early evening. These storms tracked east to southeastwards through the afternoon and evening bringing strong gusts to the coastal waters and the inland rivers.
