The wider storm

A cluster of storms formed across the eastern upper peninsula of Michigan during the early afternoon as troughing pivoted overhead. These storms progressed eastward, eventually producing hail over the St. Marys River. This included 1.5 inch hail reported on the north side of Neebish Island.

Began near Rock Cut (46.3200, -84.1900).
