The wider storm

A cluster of storms formed across the eastern upper peninsula of Michigan during the early afternoon as troughing pivoted overhead. These storms progressed eastward, eventually producing 1.5 inch hail on the north side of Neebish Island.

Began near Oak Ridge (46.3200, -84.1900).
