County comms reported numerous trees and power lines blown down across all of Chester County, especially the northern part of the county, specifically in the Richburg and Fort Lawn areas.

Wider weather episode

Numerous thunderstorms and storm clusters moved across upstate South Carolina throughout the afternoon. Many of these storms produced severe weather, mainly in the form of damaging wind gusts, some of which were fairly long-lived.
