Mesonet station MTM68 4.8 S Blossburg (MT-MESO) measured a 58 mph wind gust.

A potent mid level low tracked eastward near the Canadian border during October 16. The combination of strong westerly flow aloft and a surface low in SK producing a strong pressure gradient resulted in high winds across much of North-central Montana as well as portions of Central Montana.
